VERDICT OF THE POETIC CONTEST JURY

On 29th July 2011 the jury consisting of:

    * Adam Ziemianin - poet, journalist, member of PEN CLUB
    * Dzidka Muzolf - poet, author of lyrics, compositor
    * Marta Gryczon (jury secretary)

having familiarised with received poems have chosen laureates of poetic contest "Scattered Stanza". The Jury has awarded:

    * I prize - Mariola Kruszewska, emblem LEŚNY LUDEK from Mińsk Mazowiecki, for poems: w banderozie, przewodnikowi, zjesiennienie, beksiński
    * II prize - Magdalena Apostołowicz, emblem BOROWA from Leśniczówka Leśny Dwór, for poem A dnia siódmego
    * III prize - Marek Majerczak, emblem NORD z Grywałdu, for poem Czas kamiennej ryby

Above all this, the jury has decided to award two equal distinctions:

    * Mirosław Kowalski, emblem ECHO from Mysłowice, for poem Słychać w wichrze
    * Jozef Bilski, emblem CZARNY from Lublin, for poem without a title (biel troskliwie otula…)

For the Poetic Contest we have received a few dozens of poems. The Jury was happy about the fact that most od the works were connected to the main theme of the contest.

The jury was unanimous in judging the received works.

The Jury would like to thank warmly all the authors who have sent their poems to the Contest. They also encourage to participate in next edditions of the contest.

The finale of the poetic contest "Scattered Stanza" will take plac on Thursday 11th August in the Municipal Centre of Culture and Ecology in Cisna.
