Amateur occasional radio stations work on occasions of various events (for example sailing ships rally, Warsaw Uprising anniversary, jazz festival, youth encounters, football championship etc. ). And such a radio station we will get off the ground during Bieszczadian Encounters With Art "Rozsypaniec". By means of an appliance size of shoe box and power comparable to light bulb and about a dozen metres of wire it will be possible to connect other stations in Poland and beyond. Information transferred to them will be an invitation to "Rozsypaniec". Every connection will be confirmed with a QSL card given below.
A callsign of the occasional scattered radio station is SN0ROZ, where SN0 stands for Polish occasional station and ROZ of course is for Rozsypaniec :) It will be operated by Włodek Guliński (SP2GCE).
Amateur Radio is passion of many people, who communicate with other amateurs all over the world. Depending on their own interests, amateur radio users use telegraphy (Morse code), phone, computers (amateur teleprinter, image transmitting), they build aerials and radio stations. There are also enthusiasts of communication of very little power, through satellites, reflection from the surface of the Moon, connections with other continents or distant isles. Amateur radio also has a sport aspect - its a competition where for example - you have to connect as many countries as possible in given time; and also a social aspect as, among others, crisis connection, when in case of natural disasters wire telephone communication does not work, neither does cellular network.
