Konkursy 2010 - Poetic Contest - 2010

VERDICT OF THE POETIC CONTEST "SCATTERED VERSES"

On 24th July jury consisting of: Adam Ziemianin, Józef Baran, Małgorzata Lebda, having studied 23 sets of poems (56 creations), chose laureates of the poetic contest "Scattered Verses". They have decided the following:

I award to the author of poems with an emblem "Sinus" from Turek, for the set of poems;
II award to the author of poems with an emblem "Złoty warkocz" from Nowy Sącz, for the set of poems;
III award to the author of poems with and emblem "Czarny" from Lublin, for a poem without title (Wrzosowiska zakwitły fioletem…).

Beside that, the Jury decided to award three equal distinctions to the authors of poems with emblems:

„Wielka Niedźwiedzica” from Cieszanów, for the poems Portret cerkiewny and Otulona chustą połoniny;
„Basior” from Mysłowice, for the poem Dla Małej R;
„Orian” from Gdańsk, for the poem without title ( Dusisz się tutaj mówiłeś…).

The names of the authors will be announced during the official opening of "Bieszczadian Encounters with Art Rozsypaniec 2010", on 12th August at 14:30 (in the Municipal Centre of Culture and Ecology in Cisna). Together with the announcement of the results there will take place a recital of Marek Andrzejewski and a meeting with the jurors. Warmly welcome!

The jury wants to thank all the authors who have sent their poems to the contest. At the same time they encourage you to take part in next editions of the contest. As Jan Twardowski wrote: Why do we write poems - because the one, who writes them thinks he's got something very important to convey, something personal to say, so important, that it must be saved and written down. Saving your personal experience, not only those connected to the Bieszczady, in poems - we wish to all of you!
