History

The genesis of Bieszczady Lovers Association "Moje Bieszczady" is year 2003, when - to satisfy the demands of Festival of Various Arts - Bieszczadzkie Anioły Bieszczady Lovers Association "Seal of Bieszczadian Dram" was estabilished. With pace of time there were determined specific goals the Association chose to head for: developing and propagation of initiatives, attitudes and activities enhancing development of culture and also contributing to promotion of individual creativity and supporting all those people who attempt to do so. In 2007 the name of the Association changed into the present one, that is Bieszczady Lovers Association "Moje Bieszczady". Its members fulfil the goals which were outlined several years ago:

    * supporting initiatives and programmes working for the benefit of cultural development of various regions of Poland, especially the region of the Bieszczady Mountains and the Beskid Niski,
    * supporting and promoting individual creation,
    * initiating, supporting and propagating activities and programmes working for the benefit of creating more favourable conditions for development of culture and education of children and youth,
    * initiating, promoting and supporting activities and independent actions of young people in various spheres of culture, especially from the areas of lesser education,
    * actiivities working for the benefit of building modern society, increasing level of education,
    * actiivities for the benefit of development of institutions of territorial self-government and supporting all forms of regionale development,
    * cooperation and mutual help of Association's members,
    * cooperation with people and institutions in the range of collectiong information and exchange of experience,
    * in area of organising musical and poetic festivals,
    * counselling and organisational-economical help and education of members,
    * and other subjects interested with Association's activity,
    * activity integrating Association's members through cultural, recreative and sociable activity,
    * organising concerts for children and youth,
    * organising concerts of entertaining music,
    * organising exhibitions of individual and collective artists, arranging contests,
    * organising various forms of cultural development of society,
    * individual activity undertaken by artists,
    * organising events for children,
    * conservation and protection of antique places and buildings,
    * other activities in favour of development of statutowy goals of the organisation.
